Oh and while we’re talking MSTRKRFT, here’s a MSTRKRFT remix of Lil’ Mama’s “Shorty Get Loose”, a song which I think is pretty terrible, but when mixed by MSTRKRFT sounds pretty good. I love lil’ mama, dont get me wrong, this song just doesn’t have it.
Santogold is going to get SO huge
Santogold’s debut album comes out April 29th and its going to be amazing. Her four songs that were floating around (Find A Way, Les Artistes, Creator, Shove It) were awesome, not to mention the sheer amazingness of her L.E.S. Artistes video…
This video is great. I love the way it borrows a lot of stuff from the “violence” scene in Alejandro Jodorowsky’s “Holy Mountain”. If you ever see that movie (which you definitely should), you’ll notice that one of the best scenes was recreated by Santogold in this video. Definitely cool.

Really great. I just bought it. Sounds a lot like My Bloody Valentine which is great. The vocals are really well blended into the instruments. Very cool, definitely buy it. This is my favorite song off of it right now:
Why?
I love Why? Their new album is amazing as is their older stuff. If you haven’t heard them they’re sort of like spoken word/rap over indie rock. The lyrics are always really cool too. I’ll put a couple of their songs on here. Their new album is called Alopecia.
Where The Wild Things Are – The Live Action Movie
I just saw a website for news about this movie and it looks awesome. Some controversy about it being too scary, and some other people complaining not to mess with the animated version that already exists. This shot from the movie looks pretty awesome though…
Also it has Lauren Ambrose from six feet under as one of the voices for the Wild things, which is a plus.
Scheduled right now for an October 19, 2009 release with Warner Brothers.
